and
The Institute for Regional Analysis and Public Policy at Morehead State University

Education at IFIR

As a collaborative undertaking of two academic institutions, education is an integral component of IFIR activities. Students from our principal academic units - the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky and the Institute for Regional Analysis and Public Policy at Morehead State University - are involved in IFIR activities and events. Other students will find IFIR programs and activities of interest and we encourage their involvement.

Advanced education does not end with the completion of formal university studies. Part of the broader educational mission of IFIR is to share ideas with analysts, policymakers, and others with interest and expertise in the fields of federalism and intergovernmental relations. Through conferences and workshops, IFIR faculty and students can join with practitioners and professionals in flexible learning environments that offer educational and professional development opportunities for all participants.
